![]() For the next few days I am taking extreme pleasure in two things (well, maybe more, but that's a whole different kind of story and a new level of rating): 1. Participating in Guilty Indulgence's Blog Hop 2. Wishing them a happy third birthday! (How time flies!) This hop comes at right on the tail end of my most recent release, Armed and Desired. In celebration of that release, I just did a post at ARE Cafe and touched on Talking Dirty. If you missed the post, please click here. It's getting a ton of great feedback, and the boys who participated are hilarious. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing (and researching!) it. I'm offering a free copy of Armed and Desired to a random poster below. Here's all you have to do in order to get it: 1. Respond in the comments with the silliest pick-up line you've ever heard or delivered. 2. Include your email address in the response so I can make sure to get in touch with you. That's it! On top of that chance to win, Ndulgent is also hosting a huge giveaway with prizes to include a huge box of books they've gathered throughout the year. Make sure that once you've committed to your response below, you also enter their giveaway through the Rafflecopter. And make sure you check out other Hop participants for more chances to win!

Not so much a pick-up as a put down. Was working in a bar and one guy kept trying to get served by clicking his fingers are the staff. In the end I walked over and informed him rather loudly that it took more than 2 fingers to make any of the staff come!

The worst pickup I have heard? A guy going up to a girl at the bar and trying to impress her by singing Sir Mix A Lot's "I Like Big Butts"..... didn't go well

Okay, the worst one I've ever heard: "Can I buy me a drink of your sweet p*****?" Not only did, the woman he asked slap him, but all of her friends at the table, gave them their drinks on his head.

I've heard a lot of really bad ones....but I think the worst was, "I love your legs 'cause they go right up and make an ass outta themselves" --

I've had men try to pick me up with a number of stupid lines and of course I can't remember any of them now. One guy did offer to buy me a drink "so he'd get better looking." I did find that one a better than some others, though pitiful, really. Thanks for the chance to win.

One of the best I've heard lately is "Hi, I just wanted to give you the satisfaction of turning me down; go ahead say no."
