I'm hosting the release of FULL CONTACT, a fabulous and gripping new story by Sarah Castille. I couldn't put this story down, and it had everything I wanted in a great story: lots of tension, gripping suspense, laugh out loud lines, and chemistry enough to sizzle the pages. Ray and Sia are two characters that, by the end of the book, will make you feel as if you've met new friends. You'll root for them, while at the same time, curse each barrier that pops up.
The writing will pull you in with each passing word, and once you're finished reading, it'll be a story that sticks with you for weeks! I've given this five fabulous stars for a great read!

![]() UNHOLY MATRIMONY By Sonny Zae Publisher: Roane Publishing Release Date: May 19, 2014 Genre: Fantasy Romance (with Erotic Theme) Keywords: Fantasy, Adventure, Romance, BDSM themes, Romantic Comedy Description: Sonny is so handsome, he doesn’t need magic to get what he wants, except when he gets into trouble. And, he’ll do anything for love or money, except work. So, the thought of marriage represents the worst of all possible worlds, a danger he avoids at all costs. His plans for getting rich the easy way—by stealing—go awry when he meets Ariella. She is not only lovely to look at, but just may be as slippery and greedy as he. Better still, she becomes highly stimulated at the prospect of helping him hijack a treasure. But, in addition to helping him steal “goald”, the cunning Ariella might just steal his scoundrel heart. Goodreads Link Excerpt: "Tell me where you hid the amulet." Her lips touched my ear lobe and I almost lost control of my spleen. "Confess your theft, and I will reward you, will complete the passionate interlude left unconsummated last night." "For you, my dear, I would confess anything." "Go on, do tell." "I confess my desire for you, my passion is aroused by your touch." "That is not what I want to hear. Confess you took the amulet, and tell where you hid it." "I will." My heartbeats pounded in my ears. "But first, caress my trouser weasel, stroke it as you were doing last night." "Oh, no," she cooed into my ear. "You tell me where the chicken foot is, and then you will be rewarded." I smiled to myself, despite my predicament. Such moments in life were few and far between, moments when fools thought they had the better of me, then discovered they needed to curry my favour, instead of the other way around. "My dear, I will confess nothing. Abler men than you—well, men, at least—have tried to break my spirit, and all have failed." "Where is the chicken foot?" she hissed, grasping my ear and twisting it. The pain was sharp and delicious. "I do not know!" Strangely, it was true. "Liar! Tell me, or I shall kick you." "Kick me if you must, but I refuse to tell you." I fervently hoped she would carry through her threat. "What will you do with the wedding gifts? I shall tell the people of your village it was all your idea." "Oh, my! Dear me!" Ariella responded, mock fear dripping from her lovely lips. "Do you think they will believe you, a stranger, over a beautiful and innocent young girl?" She punctuated the question by kicking me in the gut. "That did not hurt," I lied. "Throw your whole body into it. Do you have a pair of pointy shoes? Kicking me with pointy shoes might at least discomfit me…while you are kicking, at least. The pain fades almost immediately and you shall never get the truth out of me at this rate." Giveaway: To celebrate the release, we’re giving away an eCOPY of UNHOLY MATRIMONY, as well as a $10 Amazon Gift Card. His only remarkable characteristic is imagination. He ignored his grade school teacher's repeated admonitions to stop daydreaming and get to work. Sonny's book WIZARD SEEKING TROPHY BRIDE, is also available on Kindle. It is a story about the exceptional difficulties involved in finding love and happiness for an elderly and strange wizard, not to mention the difficulties of dealing with an elderly relative—an elderly relative who is also a wizard. ![]() I'm super excited to have these girls on today. This cover is phenominal, the stories are amazing, and the authors are one group of girls you don't want to pass up. ABOUT THE BOOK: They say love conquers all, but whoever "they" are, must not have heard of Murphy's Law -- whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. These five tales of sweet, accidental romance prove Cupid's arrows are a lot tougher than they seem, and sometimes it pays to be unlucky. No Wrong Turns by Lisa A. Adams Jessica Brannah is escaping from her last heartbreak with a loaded car and a new address. But, when Murphy's Law finds her stranded in a back country town, she realizes there's no outrunning love. Falling For You by Michelle Ziegler Darci’s ready to move on. Too bad the dating pool stinks. Until, a ghost from her past resurfaces—the man she missed out on in college. Andrew was the one man she’d always loved, but neither of them ever made a move. But, old feelings aren’t the only thing resurfacing of late. Darci’s ex comes crawling back at the most inappropriate time, and with all the testosterone flying, she might not end up with either man. Coffee and Cufflinks by Annabelle Blume Fresh out of a failed relationship and exhausted by a constant barrage of fiascos at work, Olivia Johnson doesn’t see the man of her dreams standing right in front of her. She tells herself the morning coffee meet-ups with Daren are nothing but coincidence, but even she can’t deny his unequivocal attractiveness. When a night entertaining clients takes a turn for the worst, and Daren shows up where she least expects him, failure starts to look more like fate. A Slippery Slope by Rebecca Hart Anne Montgomery is psyched for her girl’s only weekend, despite her friends’ choice of vacation locale—the snowy slopes of Harris Peak Ski Resort—where someone as notoriously accident prone as she has no business being. When Murphy’s Law finally catches up with her, Anne is forced to consider there may be times when it pays to be unlucky. The Shamrock Incident by London Saint James Florist, Marissa Carmichael isn’t usually a klutz, but she’s in a hurry and having a bad day. In her haste, she loses her balance and tumbles from the back room of her shop, arms flailing. Her less than graceful entrance halted by a headfirst crash into a display case chock full of silk flowers. Trey Cleary didn’t think his day could get any worse, until he finds. himself picking the side view mirror of his BMW up from the ground. On a mission to do something about it, he locates the flower shop matching the name on the back of the van that mangled his ‘baby'. But, his car is forgotten when a beautiful woman bursts into the room like an out of control whirling dervish, and takes one mother of a wipeout into the shop’s counter. Coming to her aid brings out the hero in him like no one he’s ever encountered, and leaves him with a need to know more. For Marissa and Trey, this just might be the one time it pays to be unlucky. This is a stop on a blog hop with several authors discussing their writing processes. The extremely talented and topnotch Lea Bronson has tagged me and I’ve tagged two authors to follow my post in the hop. There are more authors to visit, so if you follow along, ahead or working back, I’m sure you’re gonna run into a whole bit of talent. What is this hop all about? It’s about authors offering others a glimpse into their work, their work schedules, and perhaps their innermost thoughts. Come take a hop on the wild side!
Before I get to the questions, I wanted to tell you a bit about Lea. She’s a writer of thriller and erotic romances. I’ve read her Wild Hearted (actually from the first written word, on through the editing, and then again the final product) and then I also read My Biggest Fan which was the same process as above. Lea is an author that really dives into her character’s worlds, is not afraid to take chances, and shows you that good and bad guys in the literal sense can get their story told. I highly recommend this author, not only to read, but to chat up. (CLICK READ MORE) ![]() I've got a HOT SPOT for Kelli Maine's Give & Take Series. Upcoming releases in 2014: Entangled Love Kidnapped Hearts, Band of Friends Book 1 excerpt: She looked at the gun in her hand, drew in a breath, and ran upstairs. Voices yelled, but not Jake’s. What to do? She had to help. How dumb would that be? More scuffling and she turned the knob. Whenever people did this in the movies, they did it fast to catch whoever off guard, so … with the gun in her good hand, she flung the door open. Pain shot through her shoulder. One man lay flat on his back on the floor. It wasn’t Jake. Her eyes lifted. A gun pointed back at her. “Now, this isn’t how I wanted to meet you, Pamela.” “Leave her alone, Sanjar,” Jake growled. She shifted her eyes to Jake sitting on the floor, fresh blood dripping from his shoulder. He was shot. Tears filled her eyes. She swallowed and looked back at the man glaring. “Get the fuck in here,” Sanjar snapped. She shook her head, her hand shaking and kept the gun pointed at Sanjar’s chest. Jake shifted uneasily on the floor. “Get out of here, Pamela.” Tears leaked down her face. No. “I’m done running.” She squeezed the trigger. The bullet hit its target, and Sanjar stumbled, immediately regrouped, and pointed his gun at her. Jake lunged, throwing his body against Sanjar. They flew out the window. Pamela ran down the steps and out the door. “Jake!” Sanjar’s body sprawled out on the deck. Bile rose to her throat. She hated to see someone dead, but he deserved it. The son of a bitch! She dodged the body and leaned over the railing. “Jake!” The light from the tower lit the deck close by. She skimmed the other body on the deck. Not Jake. Where is he? No, she couldn’t lose him. Not after everything. “No!” Her heart wanted to jump out of her chest. “Pamela.” She whipped around. ______ was climbing up the ladder. “It’s Jake. He’s in the water!” Pamela’s voice shook. Steve’s eyes grew wide. Jot down the missing word. And don’t forget to check caitjarrod.com for the next site. Raffle for Cait Jarrod’s ebook copy of Kidnapped Hearts and DC Stone’s High Scandal will run until the 24th ![]() MY REVIEW: Holy crow, anyone who knows me knows I went on a total splurge of Lucky Harbor not too long ago, and it was a result of discovering Ms. Shalvis through NetGalley. I gotta say, getting this in my ARC list on NG made me squeal like a two year old little girl who just uncovered a never ending supply of chocolate. Ben is the brooding, hot alpha man everyone loves to see in a story. And Aubrey is just the chink to throw into the mix that makes this story one you won’t want to put down. He likes quiet. Aubrey doesn’t know the meaning of low-key. He wants peace. Aubrey wants wild parties. And yet, their match up is so perfect it’s downright scary. I loved watching these two dance around one another, and the whole redemption list was a hilarity—yet very serious—ingredient that made me want to—and actually did—laugh aloud. The bedroom scenes weren’t overdone and didn’t detract from the story, and to be completely honest, in a world of craziness, this addition to the Lucky Harbor series was just what I needed. I loved seeing previous characters, and I’m looking forward to many more to come. Ms. Shalvis has hit the mark for a great recipe again. Jill has graciously stopped by today to answer a few questions and share a selected sexy-ass excerpt with us. (Make sure to click on READ MORE) ![]()
It's no secret I love writing about both military and cops in my stories. Being as I'm from both worlds, it's easy to write what I know. More so, it's simple to capture and relay the true fashion on which these men behave.
In one of my first novels published, Feral Craving, I've teamed up a group of Special Force members who are also something not entirely human. These boys not only kick some ass while serving their country in Afghanistan, but they also whoop it while at home fighting the war they were set on Earth to do. We learn all about just how a Justice Demon and a Special Forces Operator can mix to becoming something deadly. Feral Craving is book one of my Justice Demon series, and up next in book two is Mike. I'm showcasing this book in the Wicked Warriors Hop because of their link to the United States military. I'm looking give away a copy of Feral Craving to one lucky respondent who can give me their best choice of a song they'd want to listen to while driving through the desert in the Middle East.
